Here are the album covers for the projects I've appeared with. Most of these are still in print!

These are the covers of albums I have played on, spanning from 1985 to the present. Almost all of these are still available and in print, and at the risk of seeming immodest, they are all EXCELLENT pieces of work that I am proud to have been involved in creating. For more information on any of these, go check out the links provided on my MUSIC & BANDS page.

GR listed on BAND-TO-BAND website

There's a website out there called BAND-TO-BAND that chronicles the "family tree" of members of bands as they move from membership in one band to another.

It's a noble project and very interesting, and completely worthy of support.

I am on there along with my traceable discography- http://bandtoband.com/index.php?Page=Search&ArtistId=33192 - Check it out!

PaperBag: The Albums

DRAPES OF RAIN

This is a cassette-only release of two live shows, the earliest ones I played with Paperbag.

VICTIMLESS CRIME

originally released on cassette in 1985.

This was marketed and sold independently and gained us enough attention to get lots of college airplay and interest SST Records in signing us to a contract.

TICKET TO TRAUMA

our first LP for SST released in late 1986,

this album sold pretty well in Europe, and continued to get college airplay for quite some time.

A LAND WITHOUT FENCES

our 2nd LP release for SST, came out in 1987, and is more raw and live-sounding than the previous album

MUSIC TO TRASH

our 3rd release for SST, came out in 1988 on CD only, and had almost double the amount of music on the LPs.

IMPROVISED MY ASS

Our only "Live" album (all the others were studio improvisations, and this one was in front of audiences)

came out in 1989 and would be our 4th and last release for SST

AIRWAVE RITUALS

independently released by PaperBag in 2010, is a collection of pieces from the first four "Radio Sets" of our "By-Proxy Radio Tour"

which was financed by SST records. These were 45-minute sets just like our live shows,

but each one went only to a radio station that was playing other PB stuff somewhere in the world.

We ultimately recorded and sent out 26 of these sets, to places as far as Antwerp, Belgium and Milan, Italy.

KXLU BRAIN COOKIES TASTE TEST #1

Paperbag played live on the air at KXLU 88.9 fm over FIFTEEN TIMES in a 5-year period.

When our friend and DJ of the "Brain Cookies" show, Splatt Winger, and the station compiled this collection from their own live show archive,

two of our pieces were featured on it. This album is now a rare collectors item.

NO AGE

SST records saw fit to release this "compilation of instrumental music" in 1987 featuring pieces from various artists in their stable,

PB was also represented by two pieces. This album is now a collector's item too.
